ECJH splits with Massie

LEES CREEK — East Clinton and Clinton-Massie split a pair of matches Thursday at the ECJH gym.

In the eighth grade match, East Clinton was defeated 10-25, 20-25.

For East Clinton, 7-9 on the year, Myah Jones had nine service points. Riley Flint had four points, Emma Malone had three and Rhylee Luttrell had one.

“I am proud of these girls of the effort they put in this year and the amount that they have improved since beginning in seventh grade,” said EC coach Doug Stehlin. “I wish them the best of luck playing volleyball in high school.”

In the seventh grade match, East Clinton came out on top 25-21, 25-20.

Lauren Hadley had three points, an ace, a kill and two digs. Holly Bernard had three points. Braylynn Malone and Brianna Rider had one dig each. Gracie Boggs had a block and a kill.

Jericka Boggs had two points, an ace, a block and a kill. Alexis Rolfe had eight points, three aces and two digs. Gracie Evanshine had five points, an ace, a kill and a dig.
