Clinton-Massie 3rd graders win SWBL championship

The Clinton-Massie third grade football team defeated Brookville 28-8 in the championship game of the SWBL Pee Wee Football League at Dayton’s Northridge High School. The young Falcons trailed 8-6 at halftime in the game played on a grassy, muddy field. In outscoring its opponents 282-80 in recording an 11-0 record, Clinton-Massie posted wins over Preble Shawnee 32-14, Bellbrook 12-0, Valley View 20-6, Monroe 34-8, Madison 28-24, Waynesville 44-0 and Alter 6-0 by forfeit. During the tournament, Clinton-Massie defeated Carlisle 32-6 and Madison 26-14 before winning the championship game. Cheerleaders were Grace Adams, Kalynn Allbright, Jillian Arledge, Cheyenne Bailey, Lucy Bradford, Taylor Collett, Addison Elkins, Karley Goodin, Mallory Grimm, Saydi Hall, Teagan Hamilton, Olivia Hudson, Gwenna Probasco, Julie Reardon, Alanna Ritchie and Avery Stowe. Players were Elias Robinett, Kaiden Smith, Peyton Smith, Cobe Euton, Elijah Allen, William Brandenstein, Jackson Frank, Ryan Anderson, Wesley Blankenship, Connor Musser, Micah Ruther, Syrus Bawidamann, Eli Sheeley, Carter Fouch, Ty Martin, Corey Frisch, Jordan Conner, Luke Myers, Bryson Lamb, Ty Avery, Greg Goins, Nicholas Hanlon and Cooper Fouch. Football coaches were Justin Phipps, Hilma Crawford, Jason Frisch, Greg Goins and head coach Aaron Clutter. Cheer coaches were Sherri Collett and Heather Elkins.
