CM boys 7th, WHS 11th in Centerville Inv. at Poelking South

DAYTON – Clinton-Massie finished seventh and Wilmington was 11th Saturday in the Centerville Invitational bowling tournament at Poelking Lanes South.

Joey Marburger and Jacob Wellman were 1-2 for the local bowlers. The Clinton-Massie duo finished 11th and 12th, with Marburger bowling a 625 (256, 182, 187) and Wellman posting a 620 (244, 195, 181).

In the team standings, Clinton-Massie had 4,462 while Wilmington came in with 4,132. Centerville Black won the event with 5,419.

The tournament consisted of three games of five individual bowlers and then 10 baker games.

For the Hurricane, Zack Zeckser was 21st with 596 (184, 199, 213) and Grant Pickard 33rd with a 561 (146, 202, 213).

Brayden Rhodes had games of 164 and 172 and Tristan Reiley had a 167 games. Conner Mitchell had a single game of 130.

Sub bowlers for WHS had games of 156, 147, 140, 100 and 133.

For the Falcons, Corey Potts had 514 (159, 189, 166) and placed 41st while Chandler Morsch was 42nd with 509 (184, 189, 136). Adin Lamb had games of 137 and 138 and Luke Campbell had a 141 game.
