GOSHEN – The Blanchester seventh and eighth grade boys basketball teams lost a pair of games Monday against Goshen to open the season.

The eighth grade was defeated 43-22.

Blake Coffman led the Wildcats with seven points and seven rebounds.

Justin Hogsett had five points and seven rebounds. Seth Akers totaled four points and Gabe McVey had three points. Ryan Brewer finished with two points, six rebounds and three steals. Reagan Burch had a point and four rebounds.

In the seventh grade game, Blanchestesr was defeated 37-13.

Kyle Garrett had three points and six rebounds. Zach West, Jayden Purdy, Levi Montgomery, Dylan Estep and Dylan Creager had two points each. West also hauled in seven rebounds while Montgomery finished with two steals and three assists.
