Wildcat freshmen top Falcons by 14

BLANCHESTER – The Blanchester freshman boys basketball team defeated Clinton-Massie 45-31 Tuesday night at the BHS gym.

“We played really well out of the gate,” BHS coach John Lovin said. “We continued to play hard. I felt we got a little sloppy in the second half.”

Logan Heitzman had 13 points on six of six shooting from the field to pace the Wildcats in the scoring column. He also grabbed five rebounds

Kyle Hopkins had 10 points and Hunter Hartman finished with seven. Trenton Czaika totaled six points and Bryce Highlander had five points. Brian Miller and Matt Holland had two points each.
