The Wilmington Rodger O. Borror Middle School eighth grade girls basketball team defeated East Clinton 26-15 Wednesday.

Zoey Moore led the young Lady Hurricane with six points.

Claire Burns and Katelynn Hickey had five points each. Grace Rhodehamel scored four points while Lourdes Gonzalez, Jada Holley and Lilly Middleton scored two points each.

For East Clinton, Jayden Murphy had six points and Jozie Jones scored five. McKenzie Pence tossed in four points.
