LEES CREEK – The East Clinton seventh grade girls basketball team defeated Western Brown’s Mount Orab Middle School 41-33 Monday night.

Libby Evanshine had 15 points to lead the Lady Astros in scoring.

Kami Whiteaker had eight of her 10 points in the fourth quarter. East Clinton outscored Mount Orab 18-16 in the final period after leading 23-17 after three quarters.

Jozie Jones had seven points and Jayden Murphy contributed six. Hayleigh Perdue chipped in with two points while Savannah Tolle scored on a free throw.
