OWENSVILLE – The East Clinton wrestling team was defeated by Clermont Northeastern 42-21 Wednesday afternoon.

The match was contested during school in front of the CNE student body.

Brayden Esposito, Josh Cline and John Cline were all winners by pin for the Astros. Austin Brock eked out a 2-0 victory for East Clinton.

East Clinton won four of six matches contested but had to forfeit five weight classes to the Rockets. There were three double forfeits.
