GOSHEN — For the first time this season, Blanchester had five runners finish in under 20 minutes in a cross country meet.

The Wildcats placed fourth Saturday at the Southern Buckeye Conference National Division Cross Country Championship at Goshen High School.

“Four of our first five runners are underclassmen,” said BHS coach Tony Blevins. “The boys did as well as we could. We are very young with only two seniors and no juniors on the team. They have a lot of potential the next few years.”

Freshman Tyler Holland was eighth overall and earned All-SBC honors.
