The Blanchester eighth grade boys basketball team defeated East Clinton 38-34 Monday night.

Reagan Burch had a solid all-around game for the Wildcats with nine points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Seth Akers had eight points and eight rebounds for Blanchester while Jackson Bray had seven points and nine rebounds.

Gabe McVey tossed in six points. Justin Hogsett grabbed 13 rebounds and blocked six shots while scoring five points and handing out three assists. Ryan Brewer had three points.

Coach Brad Ballinger said Nate Coyle played important minutes defensive coming off the Blanchester bench.
