BHS cross country season ends

WEST CHESTER — The Blanchester High School cross country seasons ended Saturday in Div. II West Chester District races at Voice of America Park.

In the girls race, Blanchester was seventh in the team standings, with the top four teams advancing to the regional meet in Troy.

Savannah Rhodes was 14th overall in 20:59.3 while teammate Olivia Gundler was close behind in 21:15.7. Gundler was 17th overall.

Mckenzie Hamm was 26th in 22:06.7, Elecia Patton 50th in 24:24.9, Emma Gundler 56th in 25:11.3, Hope Florea 57th in 25:18.4 and Cheyenne Rhodes 62nd in 26:04.5

There were 73 girls and nine complete teams in the girls race.

For the BHS boys, the team was 10th overall out of 12 complete teams. There were 81 runners in the boys race.

Tyler Holland was first for BHS, finishing 46th overall in 19:10. He was followed by David Trivett, 49th in 19:20.4; Sean Holland, 55th in 19:53.1; Ricky Davis, 58th in 20:13.1; Christian Woodyard, 61st in 20:38.7; Ashton Steward, 66th in 20:57.8; and Sam Reinhart, 75th in 22:21.3.
