BHS reserve football wraps up 7-2 season

BATAVIA — The Blanchester reserve football team defeated Batavia 28-0 Saturday to conclude its season with a 7-2 record.

The Wildcats defense held the Bulldogs to less than 60 yards of total offense. Derrick Bowman and Dakota Manor both had interceptions. Josh Creekmore led the BHS defense with four tackles while Cody McCollister, Dustin Howard and Cade Huston had three tackles each, coach Bryan Howard said.

Jordan Stroud led the offense with 95 yards rushing and one pass completion for 20 yards to Bowman.

Creekmore, Stroud and Marcos Garcia had touchdowns for Blanchester. Garcia had 16 yards rushing, Cody Henson had 77 yards rushing, Creekmore 35 yards rushing, Ramiro Torres 23 yards rushing and Tavor Mowry two yards rushing.
