BW women top WC in lacrosse 21-3

WILMINGTON – Baldwin Wallace University scored seven goals in the first 10 minutes en route to a 21-3 victory over the Wilmington College women’s lacrosse team in Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) action Friday afternoon.

The Yellow Jackets scored the game’s first nine goals before Rachel Reinhart got the Fightin’ Quakers on the board with a goal a player down at the 16:19 mark of the first half. Baldwin Wallace closed out the half with six goals to take the 15-1 lead into halftime.

Becca Petra and Rachel Brown scored second half goals for Wilmington College.

Megan Wieloch took the loss for the Quakers in net despite making 26 saves on 47 shots.

Wilmington (2-7, 0-2 OAC) travels to Ohio Northern University on Wednesday.
