NEW RICHMOND – Lane Flamm pitched New Richmond to a 16-0 win in five innings Monday over Clinton-Massie in SBAAC American Division baseball action at NRHS.

Flamm has signed with Xavier University and struck out five in four innings.

“He’s the real deal,” CM coach Brian Camp said. “He kept the ball down and he just kind of overpowered us.”

The loss puts Massie at 1-1 overall and 1-1 in the American Division.

New Richmond has a turf infield but the outfield is grass and was extremely wet, Camp said.

Tyler Lewis and Ashdain Adams had the only two hits of the night for the Falcons.

“We got beat 16-0 but it wasn’t as bad as it appeared,” Camp said. “There first four or five guys are all pretty good hitters. We had a hard time getting the bat on the ball.”

Weston Trampler was the starting pitcher and took the loss for Massie.
