WILLIAMSBURG – The Blanchester High School junior varsity baseball team defeated Williamsburg 14-0 Wednesday behind the pitching or Orin Potts.

Potts went five innings and struck out 11 WHS batters. At the plate, Potts had a hit, drove in a run and walked three times.

Jesse Wright had three hits and scored three times for Blanchester. Carter Stevens had two hits and scored twice.

The Blanchester defense committed one error behind Potts, coach Andrew Freeman said.

“Orin did a good job to pitch with the lead and attack hitters, throwing a lot of strikes,” said Freeman. “We were patient at the plate and were able to get some good pitches to hit.”
