COLUMBUS – Pierce Burnam set a Wilmington College record in the 400-meter hurdles Saturday at the Jesse Owens Classic at Ohio State University’s Jesse Owens Memorial Track.
Burnam finished second in the race, clocking a WC best 53.22 seconds.
Antone Truss was fourth in the high jump, clearing 6-6. The winning effort was 6-8.
On Friday, Kalvin Butts finished eighth in the hammer throw with a toss of 55.03 meters.
Lauren Stacy was 17th in the hammer throw on the women’s side with a throw of 46.88 meters.
