The 10th annual Wilmington Turkey Trot 5k run and walk will be held Thanksgiving Day.

Awards will be presented in seven age groups for both male and female participants.

Registration for the event will begin at 7:30 a.m. Thanksgiving Day at Hermann Court on the Wilmington College campus. The race and walk events begin at 9 a.m.

The scenic, fast 5k course starts at the college and winds its way through J.W. Denver Williams Jr. Memorial Park and onto the bike path and back to the college.

Early and discounted registration is $20, which includes a T-shirt, ends Tuesday. A late registration fee of $30 will be from Nov. 18 until race time. There will be race day registration.
