BLANCHESTER – Blanchester’s reserve boys basketball team outscored Fayetteville 14-5 in the first quarter Thursday night on the way to a 45-32 win over the Rockets.
Preston Griffin led a balanced BHS attack with 9 points. Eric Patton added 8 points.
Wesley Mitchell, Jacob Burden and Brant Bandow each had 6 points. Clayton Guy and Blake Baker each had 4 points, while Lane Heeg scored 2 points.
CJ McCulley knocked down five 3s to lead Fayetteville with 18 points.
