WILMINGTON — The Clinton-Massie reserve girls bowling team was in action Tuesday at Royal Z Lanes.

Chillicothe had just 2 bowlers so there was no team scoring.

“This was good practice for the girls,” coach Shonda Marburger said. “Four out of the 5 bowlers are new to the sport and bowling during a match can be intimidating.”

Carole Umstead led CM with games of 149 and 118 (267 series). Brittany Fry had 121 and 112 (233 series).

Rachel Cochran bowled games of 92 and 119, Jennifer Callewaert had 110 and 79, and Ashley Murphy finished with 74 and 89.
