OWENSVILLE — The Blanchester reserve girls basketball team defeated Clermont Northeastern 31-22 Thursday night in Southern Buckeye Conference action.

It was a close game through 3 quarters. Blanchester trailed 17-16 but then outscored CNE 15-5 in the final period.

Elecia Patton led the Ladycats with 8 points while Dakota Watters added 7.

Regan Ostermeier had 5 points and Asia Baldwin scored 4 points. Olivia Gundler tossed in 3 points and Jalyna Ambrocio had 2 points. Shelbie Rose and Hayley Wilson had 1 point each.

Kassi Billow led CNE with 9 points. Skylar Schircliff had 7 points for the Lady Rockets.
