HILLSBORO — The Clinton-Massie reserve girls basketball team defeated Hillsboro 44-25 Saturday night in South Central Ohio League action at the HHS gym.

Madilyn Newton led CMHS with 18 points, including 11 of the Lady Falcons’ 16 points in the second quarter. She also handed out 3 assists.

Sydney Leary added 10 points, scoring in each quarter, and led the team with 4 rebounds. Brook Britan had 5 points, all in the fourth quarter.

Emily Ireland and Faith Cottrell had 4 points each. Ireland also posted a team-best 5 steals. Ashlie Miller added 3.

Kaley Burns led Hillsboro with 8 points.
