Falcons fall to WCH in SCOL bowling

The Clinton-Massie boys bowling team lost to Washington Tuesday in a South Central Ohio League match at Royal Z Lanes.

The Falcons had 2,329 while the Blue Lions finished with 2,454. Miami Trace had 2,241.

Jacob Wellman led the Falcons with a 417 series (203, 214) while Aric France shot a 382 (172, 210).

“Jacob has shown great improvement this year,” CM coach Shonda Marburger said.

Joey Marburger had 349 (178, 171); David Poynter had 336 (172, 164) and Corey Potts had 149 and Kenton McInerney had 138.

In the Baker games, the Falcons had games of 215, 192 and 151.

On Monday at Beaver-Vu Lanes against Xenia, Clinton-Massie was defeated 2,550 to 2,152.

France had the top scorer for the Falcons with a 409 (216, 193).

Potts had 386 (172, 214) and Marburger had 359 (194, 165). Single games were bowled by Wellman (118), Chandler Morsch (140), Poynter (135) and McInerney (118).

Baker games were 157, 158 and 172.
