ROB girls split with Greenfield

The Rodger O. Borror Middle School girls basketball teams split games with Greenfield Tuesday night.

The 8th grade Lady Hurricane were 48-20 winners and improved to 3-0 on the year.

Karlie Morgan led ROB with 14 points, including a 3-pointer, 3 rebounds and a 1 steal. Jasmine Jamiel had 13 points, including a 3-pointer, 1 rebound and 10 steals.

Olivia Veidt had 8 points and 5 rebounds. Sophie Blessing had 5 points, 2 rebounds and a steal. Allie Kees had 5 points, 2 rebounds and 2 steals. Sami McCord had 3 points, a rebound, 2 steals and a blocked shot.

Anna Borton and Lexi Evans grabbed 2 rebounds each. Abigail Gillman had 1 rebound

In the 7th grade game, Greenfield came out on top 27-24.

Emily Butcher led the Wilmington squad with 7 points. Chailyn Johns added 6 while Bailey Zerby, Vaigan Zeiger, Emily Self and Kaitlyn Partin rounded out the scoring for the Lady Hurricane.
