JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles, who grew up in Orlando and played collegiately at Central Florida, has committed $10,000 from his foundation to the OneOrlando Fund.

OneOrlando was created to help the needs of the community after the massacre at Pulse dance club.

Bortles says “it’s been inspirational to see the way the city of Orlando has rallied around these families, and I wanted to contribute.”

The Jaguars also announced a plan to help raise money for the fund. The Jaguars Foundation will collect donations until June 24. Donations of at least $25 will receive an “Orlando United” cap. The team will give net proceeds to OneOrlando.
