Park 98% complete; will be done soon, but not quite in time for Banana Split Fest

Locals help with the construction of Castle Park II at David Williams Park on Saturday. Parks Director Jermaine Isaac told the News Journal Monday that the playground will not be ready in time for the Banana Split Festival. He said it’s 98% complete and they need to do some little things that take some time. He hopes to have it open by the end of June, if not sooner.
