Whiteoak High School graduate Tyler Williams has signed a letter of intent to play basketball for Southern State Community College.

“Tyler is a fine addition to our program and it makes me very happy to welcome a player from my home school,” said SSCC men’s basketball head coach Blake Kibler. “Tyler is a very physical athlete who can play great defense and shoot. We are very excited to get him going and getting the feel for how we do things.”

During his senior year, Williams was an all-league Southern Hills Athletic Conference (SHAC) player.
