Morgan D. Bloom, 17, of Wilmington, died July 3, 2017 as the result of an auto accident.

She was born Aug. 25, 1999 in Wilmington, daughter of Dwayne Bloom and Amber Sturgill Bloom.

She was a graduate of Wilmington High School Class of 2017 and had planned on attending nursing school in the fall.

Surviving is her mother, Amber Bloom; father, Dwayne Bloom; sister, Megan Mason; brother, Tyler Mason; sister, Mandy McGuire Bloom; nephew, Layden Flint; and grandparents, Debbie Borders, Bobby Sturgill, Sue Caplinger, and Darius Bloom.

Morgan was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Barney and Wilma Altman; great-grandparents, Hubert and Mary Sturgill; and a great uncle, Ernie Mundabaugh.

Services will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 W. Locust St. at Mulberry Street, Wilmington, Saturday, July 8 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Tim Case officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington.

Friends will be received at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home Friday, July 7 5-7 p.m.
