Municipal judge hands down sentences

WILMINGTON — The following report is compiled using a disposition report provided by Clinton County Municipal Court. The information includes the defendant’s name, age, residence if listed, charge(s) disposed, fine, court costs assessed, jail sentence and any special conditions. Municipal Judge Mike Daugherty oversees the court, which administers the law in criminal misdemeanor cases.

The following continues the list of those who pled guilty or were found guilty between Aug. 28 and Sept. 1:

• Ryan Foster, 33, of Hillsboro, O.V.I., sentenced to 180 days in jail (suspended), operator’s license suspended from Aug. 30, 2017, to Aug. 30, 2018, fined $1,075, assessed $125 court costs. Foster must take part in supervised probation, pro assessment, and complete a three-day residential driver intervention program. If compliant, the court will suspend $375 of fine, driving privileges will be granted effective Sept. 13, 2017, and ALS will be vacated. Additional charges of a safety lights violation and marijuana possession were dismissed.

• Kaylynn Mcguigan, 20, of Angola, domestic violence, sentenced to 30 days in jail (suspended), fined $150, assessed $125 court costs. Mcguigan must have no other offenses for two years and take part in non-reporting probation. An additional domestic violence charge was dismissed.

• Chase Dettwiller, 24, of Sabina, reckless operation, sentenced to 60 days in jail, fined $500, assessed $125 court costs. The charge was amended from an O.V.I. charge. Dettwiller must complete a three-day non-residential driver intervention program and two years of non-reporting probation. If compliant, the court will suspend $250 of fine, return operator’s license, and vacate ALS.

• Jerico Brown, 18, of Jamestown, reckless operation, sentenced to 60 days in jail (suspended), fined $500, assessed $125 court costs. Brown must complete a three-day non-residential driver intervention program and two years of non-reporting probation. If compliant, the court will suspend $250 of fine and vacate ALS. Additional charges of a seat belt violation and one-way traffic violation were dismissed.

• Joshua Muncy, 39, of Hillsboro, O.V.I.- high test, sentenced to 60 days in jail (57 days suspended), fined $700, assessed $125 court costs. Muncy must take part in one year of unsupervised probation, ALS vacated, operator’s license destroyed, driving privileges granted effective Sept. 11, 2017. An additional O.V.I. charge and a driving 47 in a 35 mph speed zone charge were dismissed.

• James Constable, 74, of Blanchester, trespassing, sentenced to 10 days in jail (suspended), fined $250, assessed $125 court costs. Jail term suspended on condition that Constable writes a letter of apology to the victim, complete eight hours of community service and commit no other offenses for a period of one year of judgment.

• Philip Eagan, 30, of Martinsville, going 106 in a 55 mph speed zone, fined $150. Additional charges of reckless operation and a no valid operator’s license were dismissed.

• Dustin Drake, 39, of Wilmington, assault, sentenced to 30 days in jail (25 days suspended), fined $150, assessed $125 court costs. Drake must have no contact with the victim.

• Delphin Murphy, 54, of Clarksville, drug paraphernalia, fined $150, assessed $125 court costs. An additional charge of obstructing official business was dismissed.

• Nicole Bean, 39, of Wilmington, drug possession, fined $150, assessed $125 court costs. Additional charges of drug paraphernalia and marijuana possession were dismissed.

• Jerrome Pettiford, 23, of Columbus, driving under suspension-financial, fined $125, assessed $125 court costs.

• John Carraway, 44, of Jamestown, drug paraphernalia, fined $100, assessed $125 court costs.

• Michael Lance, 22, of Midland, drug possession, fined $150, assessed $125 court costs.

• Arbie Bowen, 59, of Hillsboro, drug paraphernalia, fined $150, assessed $125 court costs.

• Shannon James, 46, of Hillsboro, drug paraphernalia, fined $150, assessed $125 court costs.

• Felix Valasquez, 48, of Hamilton, driving under suspension-financial, going 78 in a 65 mph speed zone, fined $300, assessed $125 court costs. A driving under suspension-failing to reinstate charge was dismissed.

• Sonny Allender, 20, of Wilmington, receiving stolen property, sentenced three days in jail (suspended), fined $50, assessed $125 court costs. Allender must take part in supervised probation.

• Lawrence Baker, 32, of Clarksville, drug paraphernalia, driving under suspension-failure to appear/pay fine, fined $250, assessed $250 court costs. Contraband was ordered destroyed. A driving under suspension-failure to reinstate was dismissed.

• William McCarren, 27, of Clarksville, drug paraphernalia, fined $150, assessed $125 court costs.

• Taylor Newman, 19, of Leesburg, theft. Sentencing stayed to allow the defendant to complete diversion. A criminal tool possession charge was dismissed.

• Holly Babb, 18, of Wilmington, domestic violence, sentenced to 30 days in jail. Babb must commit no further offenses for two years and take part in nonreporting probation.

• Tabitha Turner, 19, of Wilmington, open container of alcohol in prohibited premises, fined $50, assessed $125 court costs.

• Matthew Tudor, 18, of Jamestown, marijuana possession, fined $50, assessed $125 court costs. A drug paraphernalia charge was dismissed.

• Rose Gilbert, 44, of Wilmington, disorderly conduct, fined $50, assessed $125 court costs.

• Robert Conley, 40, of Wilmington, marijuana possession, fined $100, assessed $125 court costs.

• Thomas Kent, 55, of Wilmington, marijuana possession, fined $100, assessed $125 court costs.

• Yasmeen Medley, 24, of Wilmington, disorderly conduct, fined $50, assessed $125 court costs.

• Billy Parker, 33, of Goshen, disorderly conduct, fined $125, assessed $125 court costs.

• Jason Vaughn, 55, of Wilmington, open container of alcohol in prohibited premise, fined $30, assessed $125 court costs.

• Shauntae Tilley, 26, of Leesburg, going 90 in a 55 mph speed zone, fined $105, assessed $125 court costs. The case was waived by the defendant.

• Alicia Knisley, 36, of Midland, failure to control, fined $105, assessed $125 court costs. The case was waived by the defendant.
