Sam Spirk scored five goals to lead Wilmington to a 7-1 win Thursday over Clinton-Massie in South Central Ohio League action at Alumni Field.

But in the fifth minute Spirk scored his first goal to put Wilmington up 1-0.

Though WHS dominated possession, it was unable to score again for another 14 minutes. Spirk made it 2-0 then just 82 seconds later made it 3-0 as the two teams went to the intermission.
