BLANCHESTER — The Blanchester volleyball team dropped a 17-25, 17-25, 13-25 Southern Buckeye Conference match to Williamsburg in the BHS gym.

“We played a tough match against a very good team,” said BHS coach Rebecca Doughman. “All in all, we gave a good effort. It just wasn’t enough this time.”

Asia Baldwin had seven blocks, four points, two kills and a dig. Sarah Burton had two blocks, two points, three kills and two digs. Kayla Dugger had one point, five assists, a kill and seven digs. Hannah Wisniewski had two blocks, six points, two aces, four assists, three kills and three digs.

Shayla Sicurella had a block, four points and three digs. Rachael Doyle had two blocks and a kill. Heather Hurt had a dig and Stephanie Gerlach had six digs. Allie Evans contributed a point, a kill and eight digs.
