ADAMS TOWNSHIP — The East Clinton reserve volleyball team defeated Clinton-Massie 15-25, 25-19, 26-24 Tuesday night in South Central Ohio League action.

Coach Hannah Wilson said her Lady Astros started slow but in the middle of the second game “they finally decided to play.”

Logan Peterman “stepped up when we needed her,” Wilson said. Peterman finished with 10 points, two aces, nine assists, two kills and a dig.

Carrie Pickering had five digs and Sydney Landrum had five points, five kills and five digs. Victoria Jamison had four kills, three blocks and a dig. Grace Cooper had four digs.

Emily Tong had an ace and two digs. Lacey Peterman finished with a point, two assists, three kills and two digs. Megan Stewart had four points, an ace, two kills, a block and two digs.

Taylor Boeckmann had five points, an ace, a kill and nine digs. Miranda Beener chipped in with a dig. Kaitlyn Talbott had 14 points, a kill and a dig.
