ADAMS TOWNSHIP — The Clinton-Massie boys soccer team lost a heartbreaker Thursday to Hillsboro 2-1 in a South Central Ohio League match at Frank Irelan Field.

“The guys are playing very well,” CM coach Matt Johannes said. “We did not win but this was a complete game for our team. The guys played well for 80 minutes.”

Aaron Joyner gave Massie the lead in the 59th minute, Johannes said. Joyner beat the Hillsboro keeper to a through ball and chipped it into the goal.

However, the Indians scored in the 65th minute then again in the 76th minute.
