XENIA — The trio of county schools competed Saturday at the Ambassador Classic cross country meet at Xenia Christian.

Clinton-Massie’s boys were sixth in the team standings with Blanchester seventh. East Clinton did not have a complete team.

“This was a true cross country course … hills, creeks, logs to jump over,” said CM coach Dean Richardson. “I thought the kids competed very well.”

Jacob Whitaker of Clinton-Massie was 15th in 19:09.4.

Blanchester’s Tyler Holland was 23rd in 19:31.4.

Josh Jones of East Clinton was the first Astro in 21:38.1.
