Golf scramble to raise money for WHS teams

A nine-hole golf scramble “breaks all the rules,” according to a press release for the cross country partner scramble to raise money for the Wilmington High School golf teams.

The second annual end of season Cross Country Golf Tournament will be held Oct. 17 at the Elks 797 Golf Course.

Cost is $60 per team, which includes golf with cart, prizes and lunch.

Registration begins 8:30 a.m. Oct. 17 with a shotgun start set for 9:30 a.m.
