One injured in two-car crash

WILMINGTON – One man was hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash Saturday morning.

The crash occurred at State Route 73 and Williams Road at 7:48 a.m., according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

One vehicle was traveling westbound on SR 73 and the other vehicle was traveling eastbound on SR 73.

The car traveling eastbound, driven by Jeffrey Salisbury, of Wilmington, crossed the center line, hit the westbound vehicle, driven by John Randsell, of Kentucky, and hit a utility pole and a sign before driving into a ditch, according to the OSHP.

Salisbury was transported by EMS and was issued a citation for the crash.
