ADAMS TOWNSHIP – The Clinton-Massie girls golf team dropped a pair of rivals Thursday at Majestic Springs Golf Club.

Fresh off a win at the CNE Shootout, the Lady Falcons posted a 181 total and defeated Waynesville (206) and Valley View (215).

Gabby Woods, a freshman, was match medalist with a 1-over par 36.

“Gabby played phenomenal for this being her second (varsity) match,” CM coach Tim McGraw said.

Kelsey Smith shot a 45 and Angela Miller carded a 47 for the Lady Falcons. Jezreel Forand had a 53.

McGraw noted Taylor Kropp of CM was “playing really well but didn’t get to finish because of the weather.”
