Clinton County Sheriff’s Office reports, arrests

WILMINGTON — The following report is generated from reports provided by the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office. All those arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court. Incidents are presumed to be under investigation. Charges may be dropped or changed in court.

Sheriff’s deputies recently received the following reports:

• A caller reported that a woman appeared to be under the influence of a substance and was preparing to drive with a small juvenile in the vehicle on August 5 in Green Township on North South Street. Deputies approached the woman and allegedly found syringes and two caps containing a substance believed to be heroin.

• Someone removed a black 16-foot trailer from a State Route 73 residence in Chester Township on August 6 or 7.

• Burglars of a State Route 134, Union Township home stole numerous tools, guns, hunting equipment and appliances on August 7.

Sheriff’s deputies recently arrested or charged the following people:

• Adam Garrett and Erin Garrett were arrested for alleged possession of drug abuse equipment and child endangerment on August 5, after deputies allegedly found three children sleeping in reach of dangerous drug equipment at their home in Union Township.
