The Blanchester High School boys golf team won its first match of the season Tuesday in non-league competition at the Wilmington Elks 797 Golf Club.
The Wildcats came in with a 192 team school while Lynchburg-Clay shot a 201. Leesburg Fairfield had a 191 to win the tri-match.
Playing the par 35 front nine, Conner Cook led Blanchester with a 43 while teammate Clayton Guy shot a 44.
Aaron Anderson had a 51 and Ashlin Benne posted a 54 for the Wildcats, 1-7 on the year.
