East Clinton battles but falls short to Washington

WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE — The East Clinton volleyball team battled hard but came up short to Washington 24-26, 15-25, 23-25 in a South Central Ohio League match at Washington Senior High School.

“We played well, but couldn’t finish,” EC coach Sarah Sodini said. “Court House was everywhere and played great defense. Paige Lilly had a great game.”

Lilly finished with 22 digs, 10 kills and an ace. Logan Peterman had eight assists, three digs, two kills and an ace. Mindy Bean had 12 digs, four kills and two aces. Kaitlyn Talbot had a dig.

Kenzie Campbell had four kills, an assist, three blocks and six digs. Lacey Peterman finished with two aces, five assists and seven digs. Kaitlin Durbin had five digs, a block and two kills.
