The Rodger O. Borror Middle School eighth grade boys basketball team defeated East Clinton 39-31 Thursday night.

Matt Butcher led the young Hurricane with 13 points while Kendal France scored 9.

Peyton Hibbard had 8 points and Brandon Glass added 4. Brady Vilvens scored 3 points and Ben Zerby chipped in with 2.

For East Clinton, Branson Smith led the way with 18 points and Dylan Peterman added 7. Trent Garen and Kent Davis had 2 points each.
