The Blanchester seventh grade boys basketball team defeated Norwood 34-32 Monday night, evening the team’s record at 2-2.

Blake Coffman had 19 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocked shots for Blanchester.

Seth Aker scored 8 points while Gabe McVey had 4 points and a team-best 5 assists, coach Tom Greve said. Jackson Bray had 3 points and 8 rebounds. Jacob Hamm, Brett Bandow, Bryce Bandow, Justin Hogsett and Ryan Brewer played quality minutes in the win, Greve added.
