NEW RICHMOND – Western Brown dominated the Southern Buckeye Athletic & Academic Conference wrestling tournament Saturday at New Richmond High School.
The Broncos, a state duals team tournament qualifier, had 228 points while runnerup Bethel-Tate, also a state duals team qualifier, finished with 150 points.
Blanchester was sixth with 66.5 points.
Kyle Denier and James Peters were the top finishers for the Wildcats, both placing second in their respective weight classes. Denier won two matches at 120 pounds while Peters had one victory at 195 pounds.
Johnny Schirmer and Clayton Schirmer were both third, Johnny at 132 and Clayton at 138.
Steven Latchford finished fourth at 182 pounds.
