Members of the English Club met Nov. 5 at McCoy’s, where they enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving dinner prepared by the McCoy’s staff. Tables were decorated in keeping with the Thanksgiving theme.

Everyone enjoyed a musical “sing-a-long” of songs of the season from the past. Hostesses Anne Lynch and Helen Starkey were assisted with the music by Nancy Williams.

President Jane Walker conducted a brief business meeting. Others attending were Donna Barnhart, Nancy Bernard, Sharon Breckel, Barbara Davis, Susan Henry, Carolyn Horan, Nancy Jones, Judy Sargent, Frances Sharp and Jean Singleton. The next meeting will be Dec. 3 at McCoy’s.
