Wilmington College sets Community Health Fair and blood drive

WILMINGTON — Demonstrations, information and free samples will be on hand when Wilmington College holds its annual Community Health Fair Thursday, March 31 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the indoor turf field in WC’s Cente rfor Sport Sciences.

In pre-pandemic years, more than three-dozen, health and nutrition-related vendors promoted their products and services, which are available in Clinton County and neighboring areas. The event is open free of charge to the Wilmington College campus and greater Wilmington communities.

Businesses, organizations and services are expected to be on hand representing health care providers, fitness centers, community and College organizations, the nutritional supplement industry, chiropractic services,medical transport, pharmacies, massage therapy, law enforcement and much more.

Also, a Blood Drive held by Community Blood Center will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the nearby Quaker Recreation Center gymnasium, which shares a parking lot with the Center for Sport Sciences off Elm St. Appointments can be made through its website www.donortime.com. Also, drop-ins will be accepted.
