The Blanchester Schools Foundation has been created to accept and expend funds in support of students, teachers, and programs in the Blanchester Schools. Contributions to the foundation are kept separate from school funds and may be earmarked for certain purposes or for the general support and enhancement of the schools.
One area of special need this year is the “Pay to Participate” fund, which helps students in need to pay the fee to participate in extracurricular activities.
This year, the Foundation has received a great deal of support from donors and businesses in the way of financial gifts, donated services, and school projects.
Chad Taylor, BHS Grad, along with Taylor’s South Shore Marina supported the Blanchester schools through a gift of the new sound system for the high school Drama department and performing arts. This will make a huge impact on student performances for many years to come.
Curless Printing donated the printing of the Foundation brochures, and the First National Bank of Blanchester supports the Foundation by managing accounts and providing services.
The Foundation also receives monetary donations from all over the country as tributes to former teachers and administrators.
