4-H members On-Target at CCFSA

The Clinton County On-Target 4-H Club met at the Clinton County Farmers’ and Sportsmen’s Association Club at 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 13 with 41 in attendance. President Mikala Hatfield opened the meeting.

Bryce Huffman led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance and Alex Wiget led the 4-H Pledge.

Kristy Kiphart, President of CCFSA, thanked the group for their hard work cleaning up the rifle range.

Anna Davis gave the Secretary’s Report and Mikala Hatfield gave the Treasurer’s Report.

Dave Chesney discussed the raffle. Judy Hatfield discussed community service projects. Judy, and Lyle Delph, talked about project judging. Judy talked about the Junior Fair Club Flower Pot Contest.

Sam Jordan did his Member Minutes on his Ruger pistol; Anna Davis on her hunting dogs, Tubb and Sargeant; and Isaac Newberry on a 3D printer.

The Mini Match was to be on Saturday, June 18; the Archery/Shotgun Shoot will be on Saturday, June 25 at 9 a.m.; Project judging will be on Thursday, June 30 at 9 a.m.; booth setup is Wednesday, July 6; and fair is July 9-16.

The next On-Target Meeting will be on Monday, Dec. 12 at 6:30 p.m.

The meeting adjourned at 6:59 p.m.
