Blanchester Troop 45988 has two girls that earned their Silver Award — the highest a cadette can earn and the second highest award in Girl Scouts. Josie Fruediger of Blanchester Schools has been in scouts eight years and Avaylia Hollingsworth of Clinton-Massie Schools has been in scouts six years. The girls worked for two years on their project, and they have over 50 hours of service hours in the project. Ida Sells Miller of Blanchester has been the girls’ Leader. From left are Avaylia Hollingsworth; Stephanie Elaine Miller, Co-Leader; Josie Fruediger; and Ida Sells Miller.
