Wilmington Savings Banks held a holiday-style open house on Thursday to celebrate the expansive renovation of its 184 North South St. location in Wilmington.

The Wilmington-Clinton County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony in honor of the occasion. The event was catered by local vendor, Baker St. Culinary.

“We began this discussion eight or nine years ago, at which time we thought we would have to add on to the building. As it turns out, we were able to use extra space on the second floor, which now features a large conference room in addition to a new conference room and office space in the front lobby,” said board chair, Robert Wagenseller, to a crowd of local leaders and community members.

All three rooms will be open to local community and non-profit organizations as potential meeting space.
