WILMINGTON — The Clinton-Massie girls won a four-team meet Thursday at the Wilmington College Natatorium.
It was Senior Night for the swimmers from Clinton-Massie and Wilmington.
“We had a lot of great swims,” coach Kacie Jenkins said. “The meet consisted of short events, making it a bit more fun for senior night. The kids were excited about this and got out there and raced.”
Jenkins is the head coach for both Clinton-Massie and Wilmington.
Bailee Williams of CMHS won the 100 IM and the 100 free. Malea Beam won the 50 back. Wilmington’s quartet of Ella Neuenschwander, Hannah Scott, Adriana Benitez and Vanessa Calderone won the 100 free relay. Clinton-Massie won the 200 free relay.
The Wilmington 200 free relay team of Adrian Benitez, Sam Burt, Devon Snyder and Preston Zeigler finished first. Zeigler also won the 500 free. Quinton Smith of Clinton-Massie won the 50 breaststroke.
