Wilmington High School senior Thane McCoy plans to continue his academic and athletic career at Wilmington College. McCoy finished sixth at 138 pounds in back-to-back seasons at the OHSAA Division II Boys Wrestling Championship tournament in Columbus. McCoy was 45-8 this season and totaled a 145 win, 37 loss career as a Hurricane varsity wrestler. The 145 wins is believed to be the most in school history for a career. He is one of two WHS wrestlers to be a two-time placer at the state tournament. In the photo are Max, Brook, Thane and Andrew McCoy.
